Geauga Mechanical Company is proud to announce that Craig Berman, Design Engineer, has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

The LEED Green Building Rating System™ is the nationally accepted benchmark for design, construction and operation of green buildings. LEED promotes a whole-building approach to sustainability by recognizing performance in five key areas of human and environmental health: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality. This comprehensive approach is the reason LEED-certified buildings have lower operating costs, healthier and more productive occupants, and less impact to natural resources. The LEED System was created to promote sustainability by providing the building industry with consistent, credible standards for what constitutes a green building.
