Industrial protective wearAt Geauga Mechanical Company, safety always comes first! It is our policy that all aspects of our operation are conducted in a safe and healthful manner. We incorporate safety and wellness into all aspects of our company, both in the office and on the jobsite.

We send employees and project managers to the OSHA 30 hour and 10 hour training courses to ensure they have a full understanding of the best safety practices available.

We have implemented a Drug Free Workplace program at our company. Random testing is currently administered to all employees, because we know a work force free of drugs and alcohol will produce a better product for our clients and keep Safety First! Our company has often been recognized for our outstanding safety efforts.

Geauga Mechanical Honored with Ohio BWC Special Award

 

Geauga Mechanical is honored to be a recipient of a 2018 Special Award from the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation for our safety record.  We were recognized for working 653,015 hours between November 14, 2012 and December 31, 2018 without a lost time injury claim.

Each year, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors’ National Association (SMACNA) recognizes its members for their outstanding occupational safety and health performance through SMACNA’s Safety Excellence Award Program.

We are extremely proud to announce that Geauga Mechanical Company is the First Place Winner for having the best safety and health record in within the 50,001 – 100,000 man-hour category in the entire country!

In 2014, Geauga Mechanical employees worked a total of 97,578 hours without an injury or OSHA recordable incident.  This impressive achievement is a testament to our employees’ dedication to safe working practices.

Our company was recognized and received a trophy at the SMACNA Annual Convention in Colorado Springs, CO.
